When I arrived at Majeka House, I was immediately struck by its unique and captivating blend of modernity and Victorian charm. The room I stayed in felt more like a cozy apartment, complete with a luxurious four-poster bed that faced a state-of-the-art television. The bathroom was incredibly spacious and boasted his and hers sinks, a feature I always appreciate in hotels. It’s so convenient to be able to brush our teeth simultaneously, without the risk of spitting on one another!

This last amenity was especially delightful during my winter getaway; it added an extra touch of warmth and coziness to my stay. Darling Bonecrusher Wit Beer added a refreshing twist to this remarkable dish. And finally, our meal concluded with a tantalizing cheese plate accompanied by delightful preserves.

When it comes to hotel breakfasts, I consider myself quite the expert (I’ve had my fair share, and breakfast is my favorite meal of the day). Majeka Hotel’s breakfast definitely stood out. It offered a wide variety of options, including fruits, cheeses, smoked fish, cold meats, yogurts, cereals, and an array of delectable baked goods like brioche, scones, and muffins. It was like a feast to start off the day. And of course, the highlight was the choice between pancakes and eggs benedict – a tough decision indeed.
