I had the best meal during my vacation while I was on Turtle Island near San Sebastian, Spain. The little restaurant was a bit dirty, hot, and humid, but it had beautiful white and blue tiles from floor to ceiling. I decided to try the octopus, and it was amazing. It was tender, pink, and full of juice, served in a delicious potato and onion broth. I couldn’t understand a word the chef said when I asked about the cooking process. Even now, I’m still trying to figure it out.

However, there have been instances where I’ve embarked on food-centric trips, like my visit to Thailand. During that adventure, my eating schedule revolved around trying as many delightful dishes as possible, resulting in four or five meals a day!

Reflecting on my most unforgettable vacation, I would have to say it was the trip I took to Japan with my wife.
