So, get this — there were these two young large-spotted genets, right? They were just living their best lives in Edenvale, when suddenly their home got all messed up because of some foliage removal. Uh-oh!

Now, normally you’d think they could just go back to their family and everything would be hunky-dory. But nope! According to the Johannesburg Wildlife Veterinary Hospital, some “unforeseen circumstances” kept that from happening. Bummer.

The good news is that a bunch of awesome folks stepped in to help. Security companies and the Edenvale SPCA came to the rescue and made sure those genets made it to the hospital safely. Woohoo!

When they arrived at the hospital, though, things weren’t so great. Turns out, those little guys were a bit underweight and dehydrated. But don’t worry, the smart folks at the hospital took care of them. They gave them some fluids and a special milk formula. Yum!

I was amazed when I stumbled upon a fascinating discovery in Edenvale. It turns out there were these two genets who had been displaced from their home because the foliage was removed. It got me thinking about these interesting creatures, and I learned some incredible facts about them!
