Hey there! I’m Andrew Kai, a third-generation Chinese-South African chef who draws inspiration from the South Cantonese flavors of my childhood. Growing up, I couldn’t get enough of dishes like wontons filled with succulent pork and shrimp or savory shiitake mushrooms and tofu, all smothered in a bold and vibrant chili sauce. And let’s not forget about the mouthwatering sliced Sichuan pork with a kick of kimchi!
But that’s not all! I’ve got other tantalizing treats waiting for you. How does fiery and flavorsome chili beef with crisp broccoli sound? Trust me, the sauce is so addictive that you’ll keep going back for more. And let’s not overlook the mouthwatering roast Cantonese duck or the delicate white fish, steamed to perfection.
