I want to tell you about a great camping spot called Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve. It’s a peaceful place surrounded by natural beauty. But be aware that they don’t always have firewood for sale, so it’s a good idea to bring your own.

There are plenty of things to do at Grootvadersbosch. They have a jungle gym and play area for kids, and you can go swimming in the nearby Duiwenhoks River. If you like outdoor activities, there are mountain biking, hiking, and walking trails for you to explore. Birdwatchers will be delighted to know that there are around 200 bird species in the area.

To get to Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve, you can take the N1, R60, N2 past Swellendam, and then the R324 and R322.
