Delicious Hampers for a Memorable Picnic

At Norval Foundation, we’ve partnered with Vovo Telo Bakery & Café to bring you a delectable selection of picnic hampers. Our Adult Boxes, designed for two people, offer an enticing variety to suit your taste. Choose from:

• The Meat Box: Packed with mouthwatering salami, ham, Boerenkaas, camembert, hummus, Greek salad, caramelised onions, olives, gherkins, a tasty bacon & mushroom quiche, a freshly baked panini, and a delightful mini brownie.

The Salmon Box and The Vegetarian Box are two delicious options to choose from. In The Salmon Box, you’ll find a variety of mouthwatering items like salmon, Boerenkaas cheese, cream cheese, capers, hummus, olives, Greek salad, a spinach & feta quiche, a panini, and a mini brownie. Meanwhile, The Vegetarian Box offers a delightful mix as well, with a roast veg wrap, Boerenkaas cheese, camembert cheese, hummus, a garden salad, caramelized onions, olives, falafels, tzatziki, a panini, and a mini brownie. If you’re looking for something for the little ones, we also have a Kiddies box with a chicken mayo or ham & cheese sandwich, a cheese straw, choc chip cookies, a juice box, and a fruit cup. It’s good to know that you can also order a selection of Lomond wines to enjoy with your hampers. And now, let’s move on to Art alfresco.

Welcome to our enchanting garden setting! Not only will you be delighted by our delicious food, but you’ll also be captivated by the natural beauty that surrounds you. As you wander through our grounds, you’ll encounter a protected freshwater wetland, home to the endangered western leopard toad. The majestic Constantia mountains provide a stunning backdrop, with Table Mountain visible in the distance.

Follow the winding path that leads you through hidden spaces, and you’ll discover a remarkable collection of sculptures created by talented African artists. What sets us apart is that we welcome children to engage with our artwork. They’re encouraged to climb, explore, and fully immerse themselves in the beauty and creativity around them. One piece that kids absolutely love is Holderstebolder by Angus Taylor.

Good to know

I need you to place your order 24 hours in advance. Just send me a message on WhatsApp with your name, the box option(s) you want, and I’ll send you the payment details once your order is confirmed. Please note that there’s a R50 entry fee for picnic guests, but you also have the option to purchase a day pass, which will give you access to both the Norval Foundation gallery and the sculpture garden.

Keep in mind that beverages are not included in the cost, so make sure to bring your own drinks. And don’t forget to bring blankets and cushions for your picnic.
