Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting a working fruit and flower farm in the beautiful Breede River Valley of the Western Cape. Platvlei Farm, located near Wolseley, is a sprawling 70-hectare paradise filled with fruit trees such as pears, plums, and citrus fruits. It was a truly immersive experience.

The guesthouse, called Orchard Stay, is a hidden gem nestled among the trees and orchards.
