I found this delightful French coffee shop and tea lounge established in 2003. It’s a treat for the senses, especially considering its somewhat dull location on the upper level of the Illovo Post Office Centre. But once you step inside, you’ll be transported to a chic Parisian cafe, with its pink- and white-striped walls and black and white floor tiles. Not only do they offer delectable cakes, but The Patisserie also serves breakfast and lunch. For breakfast, you can enjoy their homemade muesli topped with thick Greek yogurt. And for lunch, they take pride in their salmon fishcakes smothered in a special rocket mayonnaise sauce.

If you’re planning to visit, the coffee shop and tea lounge is open from Monday to Friday, starting at 07:30 in the morning and closing at 17:30 in the evening. On Saturdays, they open at 07:30 and close a little earlier at 16:30. And on Sundays, you can enjoy their delights from 08:00 in the morning until 13:30 in the afternoon.
