Fundi, who hails from Durban, made her way to Stellenbosch back in 2018. That’s when she fell head over heels in love with wine. She attended the prestigious Sommeliers Academy to refine her skills and started off as a wine steward at Lanzerac’s Tasting Room. But let me tell you, Fundi’s incredible talent couldn’t be contained, and she quickly rose to become the sommelier at the restaurant. She works side by side with chef Stephen, creating unforgettable wine and food pairings.
