Situated in the heart of Stellenbosch, Durbanville, and Paarl, Joostenberg Bistro + Deli is the place to be. Even though our cozy dining area is temporarily closed, we are fully stocked and ready to serve you through every other means possible!

When winter rolls around, Joostenberg’s homemade heat-and-eat meals come to the rescue. On those cold, snowy days, you can’t go wrong with their hearty free-range coq au vin. Picture this: tender chicken, richly simmered in red wine, accompanied by creamy potato gratin dauphinoise and a fresh green salad. It’s comfort food at its finest. And if you’re in the mood for something meat-free, their vegetable lasagne is a crowd-pleaser. In the grocery department, you can easily stock up on all your essentials. We have a wide range of locally sourced products from trusted farmers and purveyors. You’ll find a delicious selection of cheese, milk, yogurt, and eggs. We also offer a variety of dry goods and seasonal fruit and vegetable boxes.

When it comes to meat, our butchery has everything you need. We have bacon rashers, sausages, boerewors, mince, loin and neck chops, eisbein, and spare ribs. Our bakery section is also fully stocked with an assortment of loaves, buns, granola, rusks, and biscuits.
