As soon as I arrived, I was warmly greeted by Alice, who had just freshly baked a batch of scones. The smell wafted through the air, inviting me in. After enjoying the delicious scones, I was invited to the balcony for a refreshing drink. The view from there was absolutely breathtaking. I couldn’t help but let my gaze wander down to the harbor and the majestic mountains that hugged the bay. From this vantage point, I could even see the sunset-chasers driving along the famous Chapman’s Peak drive, one of the most awe-inspiring routes around the Cape Peninsula.

When the sun starts to set, the mountains change into a stunning shade of burnt orange. It’s like nature is putting on its own spectacular show. And you know what? You don’t even have to go far to enjoy it because our guesthouse is situated in the perfect spot. You can just step outside and be greeted by this breathtaking sight.
