Even if we eat meat, eggs, and dairy, we can still support more ethical methods of production. We wouldn’t mind a tiny dip in quantity if it meant the animals were treated with care. Pigcasso

Have you ever heard the saying “When pigs fly”? Well, let me tell you about a pig that does something even more amazing – painting! Meet Pigcasso, the one and only painting pig in the world. Believe it or not, she actually sells her artwork and makes quite a bit of money from it!

Introducing Baloo

I’m here to tell you a heartwarming tale about a little calf named Baloo. You see, in the dairy industry, they don’t really care about male calves like Baloo. They just don’t see any value or use for them. But luckily, Farm Sanctuary SA saw something different in Baloo. They saved him from the brink of starvation in an informal settlement on Route 62, and now he’s thriving at the sanctuary, happily munching on all the grass he wants.

If you’re curious and want to see Baloo and the other animals at the farm, you’re in luck! Admission is free, and the farm is open to visitors every day from 10am to 4pm. You’ll get to interact with the peaceful farm animals and even have the chance to check out Pigcasso’s incredible artwork on display at the OINK Gallery. If you prefer a guided tour, just let them know in advance and they’ll be happy to arrange it for you.
