I’ve always been fascinated by the art of mixology and wanted to bring the finest flavors from around the globe to my hometown. But I also wanted to infuse it with the rich tapestry of local legends and tales.

That’s why I teamed up with the talented Cape Town tattoo artist, Raoul Goetze. Together, we brought these myths and legends to life through captivating murals and an enchanting menu. With every sip, you’ll dive deeper into a world of mystery and wonder.

Just like an epic saga, Fable is always evolving. Each new chapter in the story adds layers of flavor to our cocktails, creating an ever-changing landscape for your taste buds. It’s like your favorite TV show, where you can either binge on all the excitement at once or savor it slowly over time.

Josh, the owner, wanted to create a place that breaks free from the usual formal service and dull ambiance found in most cocktail bars in South Africa. He aimed to create a space where a younger, more vibrant crowd can come and enjoy the amazing flavors available.

And just like in the famous fairytale Cinderella, when the DJs turn up the music later in the evening, the bar transforms into a high-energy zone. People shift from sipping cocktails to downing vodka-Red Bulls and Jagerbombs. The whole place becomes alive with an exciting buzz.
