Get ready to treat yourself to something truly special this winter!
Imagine sipping on a rich, velvety hot chocolate while taking in breathtaking views of Table Mountain, the bay, and the picturesque countryside with vineyards stretching into the distance. Well, at Durbanville Hills, you can turn that dream into a reality.
When it comes to offering an unforgettable Winelands experience, Durbanville Hills has got it all. Located just a short 20-minute drive from Cape Town’s city center, this renowned estate is known for its wide selection of easy-drinking wines that cater to every taste and budget. But they’ve taken their offerings to the next level with an exclusive limited-edition hot chocolate and wine pairing.
Decadent Chocolate Bombs
Have you ever tried pairing wine and chocolate? It’s a classic combination that never disappoints. But let me introduce you to a limited-edition pairing that will take your taste buds to a whole new level. Picture this: four red wines paired with four hand-crafted chocolate bombs. These delightful little treats are specially designed to be infused and melted in steaming hot milk. And the best part? You can add as much or as little wine as you’d like to create the perfect balance of flavors.
Now, let’s dive into the heavenly combinations of hot chocolate and wine:
- First up, we have cabernet sauvignon paired with a delightful blend of coffee and hazelnut. The rich, robust flavors of the wine complement the deep, nutty notes of the chocolate bomb.
- Next, we have merlot paired with a decadent mix of dark chocolate mint and raspberry. The smoothness of the merlot harmonizes beautifully with the refreshing mint and the tartness of the raspberry.
- For those who love a little adventure in their hot chocolate, we have pinotage paired with dark chocolate cherry and Turkish delight. The boldness of the pinotage complements the sweet and tangy flavors of the cherry and the exotic delight.
- And finally, we have shiraz paired with the warming spices of cinnamon and nutmeg. The intense flavors of the shiraz blend harmoniously with the aromatic spices, creating a cozy and comforting drink.
Hey there, don’t miss out on this amazing, limited-time treat. You need to book in advance, though, so make sure you don’t let it slip through your fingers.
Price: R160
