This trail got its name from a special flower called Babiana noctiflora that grows in the area. As you walk along, you’ll see almond orchards and an ancient fountain with three old olive trees, known as “Drie Bos”.

What I find fascinating about the Babiana Trail is the chance to see some amazing plants and animals. If you bring your binoculars, you can take a closer look at the flora and fauna. Just imagine peering through the lens and discovering something new!

The Paardeberg Mountain provides a stunning backdrop for your walk on the Babiana Trail. It adds to the beauty of it all. And guess what? At the end of the trail, you’ll find a bird hide by a peaceful dam. It’s a great spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
