As I embark on my second day of adventure, I find myself drawn to the captivating beauty of Seven Passes Road. After a delightful break at the charming Garden Route Trail Park, I eagerly traverse the meandering country roads encircled by the majestic Outeniqua Mountains. Along the way, a must-see attraction awaits me: the magnificent Hoogekraal Bridge. Its grandeur leaves me in awe and wonder.

For those who, like me, cherish the nostalgia of bygone eras, the Nostalgia Farm Stall is an absolute delight. Filled to the brim with trinkets from yesteryears, it transports me back to a time long ago. Continuing my journey, I stumble upon Hot Art, a haven for creative expression. Here, the talented artist Lesley-Ann Hoets captivates my senses with her enchanting ceramic creations. Observing her skillfully mold vibrant pots is a truly gratifying experience.

When lunchtime arrives, I make a well-deserved pit stop at Timberlake Village. Among the various culinary options available, Figtree Bakehouse shines the brightest. With its delectable artisan bread and mouthwatering diner-style sandwiches, it surpasses all expectations. After replenishing my energy, I explore the craft shops scattered throughout the village. From meticulously crafted shoes to whimsical fairies, these stores offer a plethora of unique treasures to satisfy any creative soul.

If you love nature, you should definitely visit the Rondevlei Bird Hide. This beautiful spot is located between Wilderness and Sedgefield and is a haven for bird watchers like me. The melodic sounds of the birds at sunset create a magical ending to your time in Sedgefield.
