I’m Francie Kruger, the friendly owner and manager of this charming establishment. My son, Coenie, who also co-owns Mama Cucina, the famous restaurant in Riebeek-Kasteel, has lent his incredible talent to renovating and decorating Dennehof House. Despite not having any formal design training, Coenie has an incredible eye for combining antiques and salvaged pieces he finds at auctions in the nearby towns. You’ll be amazed by the vibrant colors and unique fabrics he incorporates into the decor. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if our guest house gets featured in a decor magazine soon!

While we don’t serve meals here, there are plenty of dining options to choose from in the beautiful valley surrounding us. I would be more than happy to provide you with recommendations based on your preferences.

If you’re looking for a room suggestion, I would highly recommend our upstairs rooms. They offer breathtaking views and a greater sense of privacy. However, please note that due to the presence of stairs and the open pool, we do not allow children to ensure their safety.

I just had to share this incredible find with you. Lynne McNamara has a stunning garden cottage and separate house that you can stay in. Both have breathtaking views of the vineyards and cozy fireplaces. The cottage sleeps four and costs R900 per night, while the house sleeps six and costs R1000 per night. 10. The Loft at Old Oak Manor

I found the perfect room at Old Oak Manor called ‘The Loft’. The room was elegantly decorated by Salome Gunter, and it’s no wonder that Old Oak Manor is rated as the top bed and breakfast in Malmesbury. 11. The Royal Hotel

Let me tell you about some great places to stay when you visit. The first one is the Royal In Riebeek. They have these really nice standard rooms in the garden that I think you’ll love. I personally liked rooms number four and five because they’re private and have beautiful views. The best part is that they cost the same as the indoor standard rooms. A room here is R1500 per night and includes breakfast. You’ll be just a few steps away from the bar, so you can easily grab a drink and relax on the stoep. 12. Anni’s Den

Another option is Anni’s Den. They have two small cottages right next to each other, and each one can accommodate two people. You’ll be surprised at how nice they are on the inside. Den is a self-catering cottage with an open-plan layout and a bedroom on a mezzanine level. It costs R1100 per night. On the other hand, Nest is a small room with its own bathroom, a fridge, a hotplate, and a stove fireplace. This one is R800 per night.
